Fort Braden Tract, Lake Talquin State Forest , 8.5 miles west of Capital Circle on SR 20 (Blountstown Hwy), Tallahassee
Fort Braden Tract of Lake Talquin State Forest consists of 1,242 acres and contains 12 miles of mostly single track marked horse trails that offer a variety of terrain with many creek crossings, ravine slopes and views from high bluffs of Lake Talquin. This trail was voted the favorite in North Florida several years in a row.

From Tallahassee, travel west on Hwy 20 approx. ten (10) miles from Capital Circle SW. Park entrance is approx 1.3 miles west of Coe Landing Road or 1.5 miles east of Williams Landing Road. Look for Park sign on north side of Hwy 20. There is a $2:00 entree fee for each person riding with a honor system envelope box on your left.
